MP Williams says “As Inflations Rises So Does Our Community Need for Support”

Belleville, On – As the cost of living continues to surge, inflation
rose to 6.7% this week and Bay of Quinte MP Ryan Williams says
this is having a huge impact on everyone. With the cost of
groceries up over 30% for the average family, MP Williams says
“Families from all walks of life are needing to supplement their
grocery shopping or rely completely on food banks for basic
necessities”

MP Williams met with Gleaner’s Food bank staff and volunteers in
Belleville this week. He is urging the community to help with cash
donations and volunteer their time. MP Williams says, “We need
to ensure that as we work through this time of inflation and
housing crisis, we help those who need it most.”
